REGION THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...
.A potent storm will bring another round of heavy rainfall to the
greater San Franciso Bay Area and Monterey Bay Area beginning late
Sunday and continuing through Monday Night. A prolonged period of
moderate to heavy rainfall on already saturated soils will
increase the threat for flash flooding...flooding of area
creeks...streams and rivers as well as flooding of low
lying...poorly drained areas across the region. The threat for
rock/mud slides and shallow landslides also exists as well as
increased likelihood for downed trees... power lines and damage to
or washed out roadways.

rivers and streams and will likely result in flooding.
* Impacts include enhanced runoff and associated flooding in low
lying areas and waterways, rising water levels and flooding on
area streams, creeks and rivers. Other impacts include increased
risk of rock/mud slides in steep terrain, downed trees and power
lines, and damaged to or washed out roadways.
